Introducing the new Mendiboard Pro Carbon Series, one of the lightest splitboards on the market thanks to its Paulownia wood core and carbon fiber. Features include a new shape, new dimensions, new lengths (152, 156, and 160 cm), a screwless base thanks to the use of hook inserts, 7 rows of inserts for greater rider positioning depending on your downhill style (freestyle/freeride), a tail tab, and two holes in the nose for easy and efficient handling of climbing skins when transitioning between uphill and downhill modes.
We continue with our philosophy of a well-defined, traditional camber profile, with a long contact patch between the board and the snow, providing the best traction and grip in touring mode (uphill) and exceptional pop, responsiveness, and versatility in ride mode (downhill) on any type of snow. But we’ve also considered optimal performance in powder, which is why the Carbon Pro Series has a higher toe height that helps us float, and a well-defined setback that helps us avoid shifting our weight backward. Its ultra-fast sintered base gives us extra speed (speed = float). A tighter turning radius than its predecessor makes it the perfect partner for dense forests and tight terrain.
New this season we have reduced the height or curvature of the tail of our splitboard, this gives it a greater length of edge in turns, we enter the turn earlier and exit later so we are in the turn longer, this allows us greater control and agility in turns.
